The overall objectif of this assignment is to assess the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the project in PNG and to provide lessons learnt and recommandations on future EU projects in the sector.

Compétences requises
Must be an economist or socio-economist with expertise in the evaluation of water supply and sanitation projects.
Qualifications, skills and professional experiences:
- master degree in economics, socio economics or other relevant field; post graduate or similar qualification in WASH considered an asset
- at least 10 years of professional experience in the management and implementation of aid programmes
- familar with EU project cycle
- experience with water and sanitation projects (WASH)
- strong experience in EU funded project evaluations, project reviews and economic / social impact analysis
- experience in the Pacific or other small islands developing countries would be considered as and advantage
