Use of CERHIS in DR Congo

With funding from the World Fund and at the initiative of the National Health Information System Division, CERHIS ( has been used since December 2017 in the General Referral Hospital and two Health Centers in the Masina I Health Zone in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.

In addition to improving the quality of the data needed to monitor patients, CERHIS automatically compiles and generates the Monthly Activity Report for these structures and sends the information directly to the DHIS2 software.

These implementations, whose technical management is provided by the local partner MaisOrdi, also demonstrate the viability of the solution in the field. In addition, many improvements have been made based on feedback obtained through this pilot implementation.
